Introducing the Flat Handy FluorCam FC 1300-H and the GFPCam FC 1300-H/GFP, the innovative, lightweight, portable devices designed for time-resolved chlorophyll fluorescence imaging.

These versatile devices are perfect for examining leaves, small plants, leaf segments, mosses, lichens, seeds, fruits, roots, tissues, or algal and cyanobacterial colonies in plates.

Both models can be used in the field with a battery pack or in the lab connected to an electric source. The GFPCam FC 1300-H/GFP also supports GFP imaging.

These compact instruments feature a high-resolution CCD camera and a small, flat LED panel that provides accurate directional illumination.

The novel flat panel design enhances sample placement flexibility, utilizing orange-red light for measuring pulses and either white or royal blue light for actinic illumination and saturating flash. 

The Flat Handy FluorCams are easily portable systems, operable via an external power supply or batteries. Handling larger leaves, such as tobacco, is made easier with an optional leaf clip that includes a gentle lock/release mechanism.



Both versions capture fluorescence signal images at any experiment phase and display them using a false color scale. They support full kinetic analysis and allow for the imaging of fluorescence transients induced by actinic light or saturating flashes. Users can customize the timing and amplitude of actinic irradiance via user-defined protocols.

Each device comes with a laptop pre-installed with our comprehensive software package. This package offers full system control through a Wizard interface, including the most commonly used experimental protocols, data acquisition, and image processing tools. For advanced users, the software provides options for automatic triggering of multiple protocols.
