The RT series Sample Divider, also known as a Chute Splitter, is an essential tool for the precise preparation of bulk material samples for subsequent analysis. It can be used to separate coarse to very coarse materials, such as stones, soils and granulates.

Accurate sample division is crucial in achieving smaller quantities of subsamples that is representative of the bulk, as discrepancies can lead to lower accuracy and repeatability. Manual division methods, such as scoop sampling or cone & quartering, can lead to 6 - 10% deviation in the subsamples. In contrast, utilising a sample divider significantly reduces these deviations to a maximum of just 3 percent, ensuring that analyses yield reliable and reproducible results.

The material is placed in the sample divider with alternately arranged gaps in the splitter head, which feature fixed sizes to guarantee equal distribution of material into two receiver trays below. This process effectively splits the material, allowing the contents of one tray to be removed while the other tray's contents are returned to the divider for further division until the desired quantity for sieving tests is achieved. This straightforward process requires no electricity and is remarkably user-friendly. The RT series Sample Divider are commonly used in the separation of fertilisers, seeds, coffee, construction materials and minerals.

Available with six different sized dividers, the RT series Sample Divider enables the acquisition of exact and representative sample quantities from very coarse to coarse bulk materials. With closely spaced dividers, materials such as stones, soils, and granulates are evenly distributed across two trays without necessitating additional steps.
