MPA 100 OptiMelt Melting Point Apparatus
The MPA 100 OptiMelt is an automated melting point apparatus that allows the user to visually determine, as well as automatically detect the melting point of the samples. The MPA100 OptiMelt records a digital movie of the entire process for post-analysis data evaluation. The OptiMelt has a large touchscreen and simple operating interface. It allows the user to easily programme warm-up and cool-down cycles with up to 24 different analysis methods stored in memory. Results can be saved onboard and transferred to a PC via USB.

The MPA120 EZ-Melt is another automated melting point apparatus that can automatically determine the melting point of samples through digital image processing. The MPA120 EZ-Melt also allows the user to visually determine the melting point of samples. It does not have the movie recording function available on the OptiMelt. Results are read off a large 4 digit LED display.
The MPA160 DigiMelt is a student-grade melting point apparatus. It is designed to allow students to learn the visual detection capillary method of melting point determination. The MPA160 DigiMelt is mercury-free, thereby eliminating the problem of mercury spills. The DigiMelt also has other safety features to avoid burns due to students touching hot surfaces. The DigiMelt is easy to clean and maintain.
