Nanotrac Wave Particle Size Analyser
The Nanotrac Wave incorporates Dynamic Light Scattering technology to offer a fast, non-destructive and reliable solution to analyse the size of particles in the submicron region. The Nanotrac Wave features the choice of using a removable cell or an external sampling probe to perform the measurement. It does not require the use of consumable items such as cuvettes, which allows the Nanotrac Wave to have very low operating costs.

The sampling cell allows the measurement to be made with a very small amount of sample. After the analysis, the cell can be easily removed for washing, sonication and can be autoclaved. The external stainless steel probe allows the measurement of the samples in their original vessels. This is similar to the operation of a pH probe.
The instrument is designed to provide highly accurate and repeatable data in a small robust package. The Nanotrac Wave provides sample modules to allow the system to perform particle size, zeta potential, as well as molecular weight analysis.
The Nanotrac Wave can also be paired with an auto-titrator to map the stability of the colloidal sample against a range of pH values. The sample is dosed with small controlled amounts of polyelectrolyte or pH solution while the Nanotrac Wave performs the zeta potential measurement at each point. This allows a greater understanding of the conditions for agglomeration of the particles to take place.

The BI-870 determines the dielectric constant of suspensions. The data can be used as one of the parameters for measuring the zeta potential of the sample. This is especially useful when the sample comprises of a mixture of compounds.
