The accurate dispensing of powders is an extremely tedious and time-consuming process. The REDI 2002 is a customisable automated high precision powder dispenser. The REDI 2002 helps to automate sample preparation in analytical applications, in material research and also in modern combinatorial chemistry. The pipette picks up a pre-determined volume of material automatically and distributes the solid compounds quickly and precisely. The REDI 2002 dispenses granular and powder materials such as seeds, salts or other crystalline or even electrostatically charged material from 1µl to 300µl ( e.g. 1µl = 0.3 mg of Silica). A Typical Workflow An example of a typical workflow would be: reading the barcode of the destination container, opening& taring the vial; dispensing the powder; weighing the vial to determine the powder weight added; calculating the amount of solvent to reach the desired concentration and then dispensing the solvent into the vial; closing the vial; then dissolution by vortexing or sonication. All this can be easily automated without user interference. The REDI 2002 can also be customised to include vortexers, sonicators, hotplates, cooling plates, stirrers, reactor blocks, capper and decapper for vials, barcode camera, balance, filtration modules or other modules from our extensive range of tools. |
LIPOS – Automated Liquid and Powder Handling Workstation

LIPOS is a liquid and dry powder distribution system that can dispense liquid and powders simultaneously. The LIPOS can be configured with 2 or 4 variable-spacing liquid dispensing probes to deliver, aspirate and mix volumes from 1µl to ml. The powder pipette can simultaneously distribute fixed or variable amounts of a wide variey of dry materials including powders, resins and salts.It can fill reactors with solids for organic and inorganic synthesis (e.g. resins, salts and oxides). For example, it can prepare SPE plates, add magnetic beads, freeze-dried antibodies or enzymes for separation and purification. LIPOS is ideal for applications where liquid reagents and samples are combined with solid samples or powders. |
LISSY 2002 – Automated Liquid Handling Workstation

LISSY 2002 is a customisable liquid handling workstation that is designed for tube to tube, tube to plate and plate to plate pipetting. Applications include sample preparation for immunoassay protocols, cytogenetics, PCR, Solid Phase Extraction, etc. LISSY 2002 is available with one or two arms with up to 8 dispensing tips on each arm. The system can therefore be equipped with up to 16 dispensing tips, or 8 tips on one arm and a gripper tool on the second arm. High working speed, rapid arm movements and a compact syringe pump make LISSY 2002 much faster than most systems on the market. Using the gripper tool, which can rotate up to 305°, plates can be picked up, moved and placed at a 90° or 180° angle. This also makes barcode reading much easier as the tubes or plates can be rotated in front of the camera. The LISSY 2002 can also be customised to include various probes for spraying, spotting, slurries, filtration, septum piercing and muti-channel probes to simultaneuously dispense different solvents or for inert gases to be present during dispensing. vortexers, sonicators, hotplates, cooling plates, stirrers, barcode camera, viscous media dispensing, pH adjustment, tilting stations, capper and decapper for vials, filtration modules or other modules from our extensive range of tools. LISSY-TLC is an automated spotting workstation for spotting and drying samples on Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) plates. The LISSY-TLC is based on a proven pipetting robot equipped with special dosing tips, which can precisely plot the sample material with one channel, and with the other channel supply nitrogen. The thin-layer plates are positioned in stackable racks, each rack holding 6 plates of 16 spots each. This allows the 96-well format to be maintained. LISSY-TLC is more precise and faster than spotting the samples manually. |

The Lissy Junior has one pipetting probe which can dispense or aspirate into various tubes, vials, microtitre plates etc. on the workbench.
